The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards delivered another stellar presentation with some surprises both on and off the stage. What wasn’t as surprising was the continued dominance of “Game of Thrones” or HBO for that matter. When observing the theatre off stage on the red carpet, of course the pageantry was electric, with theme best characterized as colorful and daring. Kristen Bell played it close to the vest wearing classic white and killing it, but others like Tracee Ellis Ross, Tiffany Haddish, and Leslie Jones choosing to big and with color but also doing it well.
